Welcome Miss Elizabeth Crawford

Meet our Student Intern!

My name is Miss Elizabeth Crawford. I am originally from Franklin, North Carolina. I am a student at Lee University pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education. I have played piano for thirteen years and have been trained professionally in vocal arts. I have performed in several ensembles at Lee including Choral Union and Symphonic Band.

Elizabeth CrawfordI have known I want to teach music for many years now. I come from a large family. I am the third girl out of five, with a little brother at the end making six children total. Our family has always emphasized the importance of education, and my passion lies in the arts. As a home schooling family we were able to explore creative methods of teaching in our class, which has only inspired me further in the goals I wish to accomplish as a music teacher.

Oak Grove Elementary is my second placement as a student teacher, and I am pleased to have been placed in a school that emphasizes the benefits of arts in education so vividly. I will be here through the end of April. I am excited to work here, and look forward to teaching and learning with such fine students and faculty.
